I found four Kjerstin Nilsdotters (or maybe just three) born in the same year, same parish. I had two of them conflated in my tree (I call them Kerstin 1 and Kerstin 2), and it took a bit to separate them. During that research, I discovered the other two Kerstins, one of whom may be the clue to the parents of Kerstin 2. All of this in trying to figure out clues via DNA research into whether we’ve correctly identified the parents of one of my 6th great grandfathers.
