Back in January, 2021, not long after an insurrection and inauguration, the American Ethical Union sponsored an All Society Platform meeting. When our initial speaker had to bow out in order to focus on impeachment hearings, I was one of the panel invited to speak, instead. Here are my remarks from that occasion.
